Singapore Condominiums: The Different Classifications

A condominium or 'condo' in Singapore is a stunning project where the units are sold by people. When you buy a condo, you are individually responsible for the  inside  walls of the unit. It has simultaneously taken possession  of various owners of common property such as the elevators, clubhouse, swimming pool, gymnasium, tennis courts and other shared offices.

A condominium is one of the most well-known types of accommodation in Singapore. However, not all condominiums in Singapore are something very similar. There is a plethora of options to cater to different sectors of the buyers market.

Leading the line is the extravagant class of condominiums, particularly suited to those with extremely wealthy resources. These are usually in prime locations in Singapore, in areas such as Plantation Street, Keppel Sound and Sentosa. They attract extremely sophisticated and savvy buyers who not only hope to buy a home, but also curate lifestyle ideas that match their status.

Recently, some even turn to the administrations of well-known engineers to create specific layouts and compositional themes that will increase the uniqueness of their tasks.

At this point there are condominiums that have a place in the middle price segment. These are usually found near the city limits, in regions like Newton Novena and Tanjong Rhu. These activities are famous for their close proximity to the city center where the business and entertainment centers and  full offices are located. They also accompany other types of issues that attract experts and prolific elites.

And then there are the mass condominiums, which are mainly located in rural areas and also accompany large community offices. Such condominiums are mostly budget passage levels to accommodate the numerous buyers attempting to transition from public housing to private ownership.   Singapore has an exceptional component here.

Under the classification of mass market condominiums, there is a subset of condominiums referred to as Leader Condominiums (EC).An EC is a semi-public and semi-confidential accommodation presented by the  authority. They are priced below private property to cater to the reluctance of  Singaporeans, particularly young savvy, who yearn for private accommodation but are pursuing the cost of  private property beyond their capacity. Be that as it may, there are certain policies and restrictions that govern ECs including a minimum habitability period of 5 years by the owner before being allowed to sell it on the resale market. Also, they can offer strangers the next 10 years.
